Base access — what to expect
Schofield Barracks & Wheeler Army Airfield
Our technicians are credentialed for Schofield and Wheeler. Tell us your building or housing address and we come on post — Island Palm Communities neighborhoods, the barracks lots, the PX and Commissary parking, the motor pools and the airfield side. No gate meetup required.
Pearl Harbor–Hickam, Kāneʻohe Bay, Fort Shafter, Tripler, Camp Smith
For these installations we meet you just outside the gate or at the visitor center, which works for almost every job: car keys are cut and programmed in our van, and for home lockouts or rekeys you can escort us in as your sponsored guest if your installation allows it. Call ahead and we will tell you the easiest gate.
What we do for service members and families
PCS move-in rekey
Previous tenants, contractors and inspectors all had keys to your new quarters or off-base rental. We rekey every exterior door to one key in a single visit, and handle move-out rekeys for landlords in Mililani, Wahiawā, ʻEwa Beach, Kapolei, Pearl City and Kailua. Note: privatized base housing (Island Palm, Hickam Communities, Ohana Military Communities) usually requires a work order through the housing office before a lock change — ask us and we will tell you what applies.
Car keys for base-registered vehicles
Lost the only key to the truck you bought at the lemon lot? We cut and program replacement keys for Toyota, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Jeep, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Subaru and the European makes right where the vehicle sits, with the ownership verification NASTF requires — registration, title or insurance card plus ID.
Deployment spare keys
Before you ship out, make a spare car key and a spare house key for the person watching your home and vehicle. Spares made while you still have a working key are the cheapest keys you will ever buy, and they prevent an all-keys-lost job while you are gone.
Lockouts, 24/7
Locked out of quarters at 0200 after a late shift, or the kids locked the keys in the car at the Schofield pool? We respond around the clock, with damage-free entry for homes, barracks rooms where permitted, vehicles and storage units.
Smart locks & keypad deadbolts
Keypad locks let a spouse, a house-sitter or the dog walker in without a key handoff, and are the easiest way to stop lockouts for families with kids coming home from Solomon, Hale Kula or Wheeler Elementary. We install and program Schlage, Yale and Kwikset units — check your housing office’s rules first on privatized housing.
Itemized receipts
Every job comes with an itemized receipt for reimbursement, insurance or a command claim, with the vehicle or address, the service and the parts listed separately.

Military locksmith FAQs
Can you come onto base?
Yes at Schofield Barracks and Wheeler Army Airfield, where we hold a full base pass. At Pearl Harbor–Hickam, Kāneʻohe Bay, Fort Shafter, Tripler and Camp Smith we meet you at the gate or visitor center; if your installation allows sponsored guests, you can escort us to your quarters for home jobs.
What do I need to show for a car key?
NASTF rules require proof of ownership: a photo ID plus the registration, title or insurance card for the vehicle. For a vehicle registered in a spouse’s or sponsor’s name, have them present or available by phone.
Can you rekey privatized base housing?
Usually only through the housing office, which owns the locks. Island Palm Communities, Hickam Communities and Ohana Military Communities each have their own process — we can do the work once it is authorized, and we rekey off-base rentals and owned homes without restriction.
Do you offer a military discount?
Ask when you call — we will tell you exactly what applies to your job. Either way, the price you are quoted on the phone is the price you pay.
